NASCAR driver Bubba Wallace married his longtime love Amanda Carter on New Year’s Eve on Saturday.
Bubba Wallace said his “I Dos” with his heart on his sleeve — and two meaningful messages hidden inside his tux.
On New Year’s Eve, the 29-year-old NASCAR driver married his longtime love Amanada Carter in a “intimate and romantic” ceremony planned by Fabulously Created Events.
Wallace turned to Stitched by Mitch suit designer Mitch Purgason for the special occasion, who custom designed the dark wine tuxedo jacket and cashmere and silk pants, which featured nods to the groom himself.

Purgason tells newsthat Wallace’s birth year is a must-have in any of his bespoke designs for the professional driver.
“I include ‘Est 1993’ the year he was born embroidered somewhere hidden either on his pants or his jacket in every suit that I make Bubba,” he says of the signature touch.
Purgason also highlighted the colour orange, Wallace’s favourite, in minute details. “I also have a tri-colored Milanese buttonhole. Something that can only be done by hand, usually a gradient of the colour he is wearing.”
Wallace’s groomsmen wore suits designed in Italy and made from an ombre textured wool produced by the same mill that produces the iconic James Bond suits.
Wallace and Carter’s wedding took place at the JW Marriott in Charlotte, North Carolina, one year after their engagement in July 2021. Wallace proposed after five years of dating his then-girlfriend.
“Getting married also starting a new life together, I am just so excited to have a good one in my corner,” Wallace said of the couple’s wedding day, according to news. “We have a lot of fun together.”
When it came to the wedding, the couple wanted to combine the romantic feel of a traditional wedding with the party vibe of a New Year’s Eve bash.
